What it is
ERP as a service, built on SAP best practice
SAP Cloud ERP is SAP's software-as-a-service ERP. It covers finance, procurement, sales, supply chain, manufacturing, projects and services in one system, with preconfigured processes based on SAP best practice.
SAP runs the software and the infrastructure, and upgrades every customer on a fixed schedule. You are always on the latest release, with new functionality and AI features arriving without an upgrade project.
The trade-off is standardisation. Rather than rebuilding old processes in a new system, you adopt the standard and extend it in a controlled way where your business is genuinely different.

The most direct route to an autonomous business
The SAP Autonomous Enterprise is SAP's vision of AI agents running business processes end to end, with people steering. Public Cloud is the closest starting point. It is standard, clean and always current by design.
